Chapter 120
This was a red flag waving violently in the wind.
Nathaniel stretched his long legs and rose from his seat, exiting the room with purposeful strides. He ordered Dominic to prepare his car immediately.
Isabella noticed how Bebe seemed to hold a special place in Nathaniel's heart. One phone call from her, and he dropped everything to respond.
She clenched her fists. She needed to discover Bebe's identity. She would become her closest confidant.
Meanwhile, Harrison and Rosalind remained standing on the bustling sidewalk. Soon, a sleek black Rolls-Royce glided to a stop beside them, its engine humming softly.
The chauffeur opened the rear door with practiced elegance. Both girls slid into the plush leather seats.
Harrison's eyes widened. "Rosalind, is your cousin loaded?"
A Rolls-Royce - Nathaniel's personal vehicle was the same make. Did all wealthy jerks favor this brand?
Rosalind chuckled. "Filthy rich. Harrison, let me introduce you to my cousin. You could be family."
What?
Harrison shook her head vigorously. "Thanks, but no thanks. That's not really my scene."
Rosalind smirked mischievously.
She wanted to reveal that Harrison was already family - through marriage to Nathaniel!
The next day at Willowridge University, Harrison and Rosalind were walking back to their dorm when a voice cut through the air. "So you're the Sleeping Beauty, Harrison?"
Harrison looked up to see Julian Ashford blocking their path.
Julian stood surrounded by his usual entourage, eyeing Harrison with a predatory grin. "Well, well. Didn't expect the campus legend to be such a knockout."
Rosalind leaned in urgently. "Harrison, that's Julian Ashford. Heir to the Ashford fortune. Campus royalty and resident bully."
Harrison's gaze turned icy. "Don't know you."
She tried to walk past, but Julian stepped directly into her path. "No need to be shy, gorgeous. Let's get acquainted."
The closer he got, the more Julian found himself captivated. Sienna had sent him to drive Harrison out of school, but failed to mention her breathtaking beauty.
"I like you, princess," Julian purred, moving closer. "From today, you're mine. I'll give you everything you've ever wanted."
His hand reached for Harrison's face.
Harrison jerked away with a hiss. "Back off!"
She grabbed Rosalind's wrist to leave, but Julian's goons formed a tight circle around them.
Rosalind glared. "Julian, don't push your luck!"
"Push my luck?" Julian laughed cruelly. "I make my own luck. Harrison, stop playing hard to get. Small-town girl like you should be grateful for my attention."
His gaze flicked to Rosalind with disdain. "Boys, Harrison's mine. As for Clown Face here... she's all yours. Probably still untouched - not that anyone would want her."
The group erupted in crude laughter, their eyes raking over both girls. Even calm-tempered Rosalind trembled with rage. "You little-"
Harrison stepped protectively in front of her. Julian raised his hand dramatically. "Take them!"
