Chapter 350

Nathaniel looked down at Harrison in his arms, his sharp eyes glinting with amusement. "We shared a roof before. That makes you my sister, doesn't it?"

The audacity!

Harrison lifted her leg to kick him.

With effortless grace, Nathaniel flipped her beneath him. "Ready for another round?"

The hunger in his gaze told her he meant every word. The man's endurance was inhuman.

"Harrison," he whispered, tracing her jawline. "We've never done this in daylight."

Flames licked Harrison's cheeks. This madman!

She shoved him away with all her strength and bolted from the bed.

Nathaniel simply smirked, enjoying her hasty retreat.

Later, Nathaniel and Harrison went to check on Sebastian. After examining his leg wound, Harrison nodded in approval. He'd survived the critical night.

"You'll keep this leg," she declared.

Sebastian scowled. "Don't expect gratitude."

"Like your thanks would grant me immortality."

Sebastian choked on his retort.

Nathaniel observed their exchange silently. Despite the bickering, he noticed Sebastian's attitude toward Harrison had shifted.

"Nathaniel, let's leave," Sebastian grumbled.

Nodding, Nathaniel said, "I need to see the village chief first."

He turned to leave without explanation.

"Why?" Sebastian called after him.

Watching Nathaniel's retreating figure, Harrison spat, "Maybe he's fetching another lover. Isabella might have competition."

At Isabella's name, Sebastian fell silent, his expression darkening.

When Nathaniel arrived at the chief's house, Felicity rushed out eagerly. "Nathaniel! Come in! My father and brother Adrian are waiting!"

Inside, an extravagant feast covered the table in Nathaniel's honor. The chief's eyes had lit up when Felicity mentioned Nathaniel owned Falcon Enterprises.

The chief and Adrian sat together. Adrian had no memory of last night, though his body ached inexplicably.

Rubbing his neck, Adrian groaned, "Father, I feel like I was beaten last night. And I keep dreaming of some breathtaking woman..."

"Don't worry," the chief assured. "I'll find you a stunning wife and secure a wealthy husband for Felicity."

"Father," Felicity interrupted, "Nathaniel's here!"

Both men stood abruptly. Their eyes gleamed at Nathaniel's aristocratic bearing—some men simply radiated power and wealth.

The chief stepped forward eagerly. "Mr. Falcon! What an honor!" He extended his hand.

Nathaniel didn't move.

Felicity blinked. "Nathaniel, aren't you here to propose?"

Ignoring them, Nathaniel fixed his predatory gaze on Adrian. He advanced, each step deliberate.

Adrian frowned. "Mr. Falcon, what—"

Crack!

Nathaniel's fist connected with Adrian's jaw, sending him crashing into the wall. Blood trickled from Adrian's lip.

Grabbing Adrian's collar, Nathaniel hissed, "Now you remember who beat you? How dare you look at my woman!"

His fists rained down mercilessly.
