Chapter 434

Harrison revealed Nathaniel had encountered Dr. Sinclair.

Nathaniel was taken aback. His piercing gaze locked onto Harrison as he studied her. An unsettling suspicion gnawed at him—she was keeping secrets.

At that moment, Harrison's eyes shimmered with an almost unnatural brilliance. Nathaniel felt an odd flutter in his chest as he watched her.

Just then, Margaret and Victoria emerged from the room. "Harrison!" Margaret called sharply.

Harrison turned. "Did you need something?"

Margaret's expression darkened. "Did you retrieve your father's ashes and settle everything properly?"

A bitter laugh escaped Harrison's lips. "Since when do you care about my father's remains?"

"How dare you! Benjamin was my first son. I'm his mother!" Margaret snapped, her voice trembling with anger.

Harrison's smile turned venomous. "He's gone. Who are you pretending for? He wasn't even your real son. You adopted him."

Margaret and Victoria froze, their faces draining of color. They never expected Harrison to know this truth. Victoria's voice shook. "How... how did you find out?"

Harrison closed the distance between them, her confidence unshakable.

"You were desperate to secure your place in the Whitmore family. When you couldn't conceive, you took in my father. Then miraculously, you got pregnant—first with Theodore, then Frederick. Those two were always your golden boys."

"You played favorites. My father knew he wasn't truly yours, yet he endured everything. He considered you his mother. He built his empire from nothing, supported his brothers, gave you everything you have now. He repaid your so-called kindness tenfold!"

Her words struck like physical blows. Margaret and Victoria staggered back, stunned.

They never imagined Harrison knew their darkest secret—nor how she'd uncovered it.

Harrison turned her icy gaze to Victoria. "My father loved you. Married you. Cherished you. Never failed you. And look how you repaid him!"

Victoria's face twisted in fury. "What are you implying?"

"You know exactly what you did to him! How do you sleep at night, spending the fortune he left behind? Don't you ever wonder if his ghost watches you?"

"Enough of this madness!"

Face white with rage, Victoria raised her hand to strike—but Harrison caught her wrist mid-air.

Victoria gasped. "I'm your mother! How dare you—"

"Mother?" Harrison's voice dripped with contempt. "You forfeited that title long ago."

With a sharp shove, Harrison sent Victoria crashing into the wall. The older woman crumpled, her dignity shattered.

Margaret's hands trembled with outrage. "You've crossed every line! Do you think Oliver's protection makes you untouchable? Men tire of women like you. When he discards you, you'll be nothing!"
