Chapter 403

Oliver understood the bond between Harrison and her father. He knew how deeply her father had loved her—those rare moments were the only true happiness in Harrison's life.

Now that it was confirmed her father had been poisoned by someone from the Whitmore family, revenge was inevitable.

Oliver nodded. "I'm with you, no matter what."

Nathaniel arrived at the hospital and headed straight for the VIP suite.

Isabella had been readmitted. Clad in a hospital gown, she sat upright in bed, Theodore and Victoria hovering nearby.

Though Nathaniel had grown distant from Isabella, she was still his woman. He couldn't ignore her. So he came.

"How are you feeling?" Nathaniel asked, sitting beside her, concern etched into his features.

Isabella grasped his hand. "Nathaniel, my heart... it hurts so much."

Victoria spoke up quickly. "Her condition flared up again. She collapsed from the pain. The doctors just left—they can't do anything. That fake Dr. Sinclair was useless. Only the real one can save her. Have you found him yet?"

Nathaniel shook his head. "Not yet."

Theodore looked grim. "We can't keep ignoring Isabella's condition. We need to act!"

Nathaniel's jaw tightened. "I know. I'm handling it."

Just then, Dominic entered, clutching a file. "Mr. Falcon."

He clearly didn’t want to discuss this in front of everyone. Nathaniel stood. "Excuse me for a moment."

As Nathaniel left, Victoria shot Isabella a questioning look. "Where is he going? What’s happening?"

Isabella, lost in thought, murmured, "He’s been searching for a compatible heart for me. Maybe he found one?"

Victoria brightened. "That’s wonderful! I wonder whose it is. Whoever it is, it’s an honor to match Isabella. But why step out to discuss it?"

Isabella frowned. "I don’t know."

In the hallway, Nathaniel faced Dominic. "Speak."

Dominic lowered his voice. "We found a match for Ms. Isabella."

Nathaniel's eyes sharpened with hope.

Dominic hesitated, lips pressed tight.

Nathaniel arched a brow. "Out with it."

Dominic handed him a sealed envelope. "You should see this yourself."

Nathaniel tore it open. A name leaped out at him.

Two words: Harrison Whitmore.

Nathaniel's breath caught. "Harrison?"

Dominic nodded. "Yes. Her heart is a perfect match for Ms. Isabella."

Harrison. Of all people.

Nathaniel had never imagined her being the one.

Isabella’s condition was critical. They'd searched everywhere—but never expected Harrison.

Dominic spoke carefully. "Sir... what now? You can't seriously consider asking Ms. Harrison to give up her heart for Ms. Isabella. But without her... Isabella won’t last much longer. What’s the right move here?"

Nathaniel was trapped in an impossible choice—Isabella or Harrison?

His expression darkened, mind racing. After a long silence, he finally ordered, "Keep this quiet."

Dominic nodded. "Understood."

Nathaniel returned to the room.

Isabella’s hopeful eyes locked onto him. "Nathaniel? Did you find a heart for me?"
