Chapter 312
Theodore was Isabella's father, but in reality, he had merely brought Isabella back from the Capital.
She wasn't even his biological daughter.
Her true father...was a man of immense power and influence.
Isabella came from extraordinary lineage.
Of course, this remained the deepest secret buried in Margaret and Theodore's hearts, one they dared not reveal now.
Margaret glared at Harrison, her expression icy. "Harrison, stop calling me 'Grandma'. I have no granddaughter like you!"
Rosalind gasped at Margaret's lack of remorse. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Furious, she snapped, "Excuse me?"
Then a small, delicate hand rested gently on her arm. Harrison stepped forward, meeting Margaret's gaze directly. "Grandma, are you truly disowning me?"
Margaret stood firm, unyielding. "Absolutely!"
Harrison turned to Victoria. "Mother, do you feel the same?"
The same thought echoed in Victoria's mind—"I'm beginning to question if Harrison is really your child!"
Victoria had been observing Margaret closely and understood exactly what the older woman was thinking. Her lips curled into a knowing smirk.
When Harrison addressed her, Victoria hesitated only briefly before standing behind Margaret, wearing a pained expression. "Harrison, you're being unreasonable. I must stand with your grandmother."
Both women were ready to sever ties with Harrison.
After her father's death, these two should have been her closest remaining family.
One her grandmother, the other her mother.
Yet time and again, they'd shown how little they truly cared.
Harrison nodded calmly. "Very well. If that's your decision, I declare I no longer have any connection to the Whitmore family!"
Margaret couldn't have been happier. Useless people like Harrison should be discarded like trash.
Especially someone who dropped out at sixteen—nothing but a stain on the Whitmore name.
Victoria and Isabella exchanged satisfied smiles.
Suddenly, murmurs spread through the crowd. "Mr. Falcon is here!"
Nathaniel had arrived!
Harrison looked up as the crowd parted. Today's guest of honor, Nathaniel, made his entrance.
Dressed in a bespoke black suit, Nathaniel looked every inch the distinguished gentleman. Bodyguards cleared his path as staff flanked him, moving with the grace of royalty descending from the heavens.
"Mr. Falcon, this way please."
Nathaniel strode confidently forward.
Sebastian, looking particularly dashing today, stood nearby clutching an enormous bouquet of red roses. His excitement was palpable.
"Nathaniel, my dream woman is finally appearing today! After her speech, I'm presenting these roses."
Nathaniel's expression remained impassive.
Isabella quickly approached. "Nathaniel, darling."
He paused to look at her.
Isabella smiled sweetly. "Look, Harrison's here too."
Nathaniel's gaze shifted to Harrison.
Sebastian immediately chimed in, "Harrison, what brings you here? Come to see my dream girl too?"
Harrison eyed the roses in Sebastian's hands. "Your dream girl?"
Sebastian puffed out his chest proudly. "The genius freshman! I'm presenting these after her speech."
Harrison paused, then couldn't help laughing.
Sebastian frowned. "What's so funny?"
Harrison's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Your dream girl hates red roses."
