Chapter 432
Harrison, Victoria, and Penelope entered the hospital room simultaneously, their faces alight with excitement.
Margaret's eyes gleamed. "The actual Dr. Sinclair has come to Willowbrook?"
Nathaniel confirmed with a nod. "Indeed. Dr. Sinclair will be attending tonight's gala."
Heavens!
The Whitmore family buzzed with anticipation.
Penelope clasped her hands together, starry-eyed. "Dr. Sinclair is finally here! She's been my role model since medical school. I can't believe I'll actually meet her!"
Margaret added, "Dr. Sinclair is famously elusive. After that imposter last year, we'll finally see the real deal."
Victoria tilted her head curiously. "What do you think? Male or female?"
Isabella shrugged. "We'll find out tonight."
Margaret turned pleading eyes toward Nathaniel. "Mr. Falcon, might we accompany you this evening? We're all desperate to meet Dr. Sinclair."
"Of course," Nathaniel agreed.
Just then, a smooth voice interrupted. "What's all this excitement about?"
Nathaniel turned to see Harrison standing in the doorway, elegant as always.
Isabella smirked. "The real Dr. Sinclair has arrived in Willowbrook. Not that you'd understand her significance."
Margaret added with a mocking smile, "Dr. Sinclair represents everything you're not - accomplished, respected, brilliant."
Harrison's lips curved slightly. "So you're all meeting Dr. Sinclair tonight?"
Penelope grinned. "Yes. And you're not invited."
Harrison chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "Funny you should mention that. I happen to know Dr. Sinclair personally."
Margaret gasped. "You? Know Dr. Sinclair?"
Harrison tilted her head. "Have you forgotten who exposed the imposter last time?"
The memory made Penelope flush with anger. "You only succeeded because of Mr. Oliver!"
Harrison's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Believe what you will. The fact remains - I know Dr. Sinclair."
Isabella leaned forward. "If you know her, tell us - man or woman?"
Harrison smiled mysteriously. "A woman. And quite stunning."
She stepped closer to Isabella, voice dropping. "You should be careful, Isabella. When Nathaniel meets her... well, we'll see where his loyalties lie."
Isabella's grip tightened on Nathaniel's arm. "Nathaniel loves me. No one could take him from me."
Harrison's gaze slid to Nathaniel. "Is that so?"
Nathaniel studied Harrison for a long moment before grasping her wrist and pulling her into the hallway. Harrison yanked free immediately. "What are you doing?"
Nathaniel's eyes narrowed. "I should be asking you that. What's your game?"
Harrison straightened her sleeve. "Simply sharing information about Dr. Sinclair."
"You truly know her?"
"Absolutely." Harrison stepped closer, lips curving. "In fact... you've already met her."
