Chapter 487

Harrison's fury flared, and her stomach twisted in pain again.

She gave herself a quick injection to ease it, then decided to rest.

Just then, her phone rang.

Gabrielle.

Harrison answered immediately. "Hello?"

Gabrielle's panicked voice came through. "Harrison, something's wrong!"

Harrison's pulse spiked. "What happened?"

"I just got home from work, but a group of men broke in. I hid in my room, but—"

"What? Who are they? Did you call the police?"

"I did, but they're searching everywhere. They keep saying anyone who crosses Mr. Falcon won’t get away with it."

Nathaniel?

Harrison's grip on the phone turned white-knuckled. First Oliver, now her best friend?

Nathaniel knew exactly who mattered to her.

"What did you do to anger him? They keep saying Willowbrook is his territory, that we should obey—"

"I'm coming right now—"

Before she could finish, Gabrielle shrieked. "Ahh!!"

Harrison's face paled. "Gabrielle? Gabrielle!"

The line filled with chaos—then went dead.

Her stomach dropped. Something terrible had happened.

She threw on clothes and bolted out the door.

At Nathaniel's apartment, she hammered on the doorbell.

The door swung open.

Harrison clenched her fists. "Nathaniel, have you lost your mind? If you hurt Gabrielle, I swear—"

"Harrison."

Isabella stood there, smirking.

Harrison froze.

Isabella leaned against the doorframe, her smile mocking. "He's in the shower. What do you want?"

The implication was clear.

Harrison narrowed her eyes. "I need to see him."

Isabella scoffed. "Just because you want to doesn’t mean you can. Nathaniel is the CEO of Falcon Enterprises. Do you think he has time for you?"

She gave Harrison a once-over. "Did something happen to your little friend?"

Harrison's jaw tightened. "You know about this?"

"Of course." Isabella smiled. "Nathaniel warned you. If you don’t treat my condition, he’ll escalate. Everyone you care about will suffer."

Harrison's hands shook with rage.

Isabella stepped closer, triumphant. "Look at you—losing to me again. You’ll never win."

Harrison felt the weight of defeat. She had no hope left for Nathaniel.

With one last cold glare, she turned and walked away.

As Harrison disappeared, Isabella chuckled. She pulled out her phone and dialed.

"Mother," she purred. "Everything’s going perfectly. Time for the next step."

Victoria’s voice was smooth. "Don’t worry, darling. That baby won’t be a problem for long."

Isabella smiled. "Thank you, Mother."
