Chapter 740

"The DNA results are in this envelope. Open it and see for yourself," Dominic announced.

Nathaniel drew a sharp breath. "Very well."

With trembling fingers, he tore open the sealed envelope and extracted the report.

His eyes dilated instantly at the printed confirmation - Charlotte was biologically his daughter.

Dominic smiled. "The results confirm you're Miss Charlotte's father. Congratulations, sir."

Charlotte was truly his.

Nathaniel could scarcely process this revelation. He'd never allowed himself to hope she might be his. All these years, he'd believed Oliver was her father.

His gaze drifted to the dining room where little Charlotte sat beside Harrison, her tiny frame radiating warmth.

Now he understood. They both belonged to him. This was his family. Everything he'd ever wanted was right here.

Yet one burning question remained - what exactly was Harrison's relationship with Oliver?

A crucial detail he'd overlooked now demanded answers. He needed to confront Oliver immediately.

Nathaniel turned abruptly toward the exit.

"Mr. Handsome!" Charlotte's sweet voice called after him.

But Nathaniel was already striding out the door, deaf to her call.

Victoria frowned. "Where's Nathaniel rushing off to? He hasn't even touched his meal."

Harrison's eyes followed his retreating form. Something was definitely off about him today.

"Let's eat without him," Victoria suggested. "He probably has urgent business at Falcon Enterprises." Harrison nodded. "Of course."

Meanwhile, Oliver was relaxing in his penthouse when the doorbell chimed.

He swung the door open. "Who's there?"

Nathaniel stood imposingly in the doorway, his expression stormy.

Oliver raised an eyebrow. "Mr. Falcon? To what do I owe this unexpected visit?"

Nathaniel's voice was ice. "Charlotte is my daughter. Why did you let everyone believe she was yours?"

Oliver's face registered genuine surprise. "So you finally know the truth?"

"Yes. Harrison told me everything."

"Harrison actually admitted Charlotte is yours?"

Secretly, Oliver felt pleased. This confirmed what he'd suspected - Harrison had never stopped loving Nathaniel, which was precisely why he'd brought Charlotte to Metropolia.

Nathaniel's jaw tightened. "She did. She told me about Charlotte... and about your relationship."

Oliver studied him closely. "She told you that?"

Suddenly Nathaniel grabbed Oliver's collar, slamming him against the wall. "Why pretend to be Harrison's boyfriend? Why claim Charlotte as your own? You kept them from me for three damn years! Do you have any idea what you've done?"

Oliver smirked. "Perhaps you should look in the mirror first. You're the one who broke Harrison's heart. As her senior colleague, I merely taught you a lesson."

Nathaniel froze.

So Oliver wasn't Harrison's lover - just her senior from work.

All this time, he'd believed they were romantically involved. This changed everything.

"You're Harrison's senior colleague?"

"Obviously. Didn't you say she told you about us?" Oliver's eyes narrowed with realization. "Ah, I see now. She never said anything. You tricked me into confessing!"
