Chapter 633

Oliver cradled Charlotte in his arms, his touch gentle. "So you like Mr. Handsome, huh?"

Charlotte nodded eagerly, her eyes sparkling. "Yes! He's so tall and dreamy. Can you introduce him to Mommy? Then he can be my daddy!"

Oliver chuckled. This little girl never failed to amaze him. Even at her age, she was already playing matchmaker for Harrison. The moment she saw a good-looking man, her first thought was to pair him with her mother.

"Let's head home."

"Okay!" Charlotte beamed.

Oliver carried her back to their villa in Rosewood Manor.

That night, Harrison called for a video chat.

Charlotte practically bounced with excitement as she answered. "Mommy!"

Harrison, currently staying in a lavish suite at The Grand Celeste in Metropolia, felt her exhaustion melt away at the sight of her daughter's radiant face.

"Did you miss me?"

"More than anything! I miss you so much, Mommy!"

"I miss you too, sweetheart."

Charlotte leaned closer to the screen, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "Mommy, guess what? Today, I saw the most handsome man at the airport. I want him to be your husband!"

Harrison froze.

Her daughter was already setting her up on blind dates?

"Who is this mystery man?"

Just then, Oliver stepped into the frame, holding Charlotte. "Oh, you know him."

Harrison arched a brow. "Do I?"

"Nathaniel."

What?

Harrison's fingers twitched. Charlotte had met Nathaniel? How was that even possible? He was supposed to be in Florentia.

Oliver continued, "He flew into Florentia but left right after. You must’ve just missed him. Charlotte ran into him at the airport. She was instantly smitten."

Harrison’s pulse spiked. She never imagined their paths would cross like this. "Did he... recognize her?"

Oliver shook his head. "No. Don’t worry."

She exhaled in relief. Even if Nathaniel had recognized Charlotte, he’d assume she was Oliver’s daughter.

Then Charlotte piped up again, her voice sweet and hopeful. "Mommy, do you know Mr. Handsome? I really want him to be my daddy..."

Harrison’s throat tightened.

She never denied Charlotte anything—but this? This was impossible.

"Sweetheart, grown-up relationships are complicated. Mr. Handsome might already have a family. We can’t just decide these things for him."

Charlotte’s face fell, but she nodded obediently. "Okay..."

"Get some rest, Harrison," Oliver said before ending the call.

Charlotte looked up at him with wide, curious eyes. "Daddy Oliver, does Mommy really know Mr. Handsome?"

Oliver ruffled her hair, his heart aching at how much she longed for a father. "How about we go to Metropolia? Your mom’s there right now. Want to visit her?"

Charlotte’s entire face lit up. "Really? Yes! Let’s go!"

"Alright. We leave tonight."

Oliver had made up his mind.

He wasn’t asking for permission.

Harrison would protest, but for once, he was taking matters into his own hands.

Charlotte was going to Metropolia.

Metropolia.

Nathaniel had just stepped out of his Rolls-Royce when his phone buzzed.

Another call from Victoria.
