Chapter 281

Arabella hesitated for a brief moment. Truthfully, she hadn't considered this possibility before.

"Isabella, I'm in love with Alexander—"

"Arabella, stop waiting for Alexander," Isabella cut in sharply. "His engagement to Lucille Jenner is already finalized. The union between the Graves and Jenner families is set in stone. You need to move on quickly."

Isabella leaned closer. "The Blackwood family is among the most influential in Willowbrook. Julian comes from excellent lineage with impeccable character. He's the chosen husband for Rosalind Fairchild. If you can steal him away, you'll become a Blackwood!"

Isabella wasn't wrong. Alexander was about to marry. Though Arabella still carried a torch for him, she couldn't waste her prime years pining after an unavailable man.

As a distant relative of the Falcon family, Arabella had just suffered humiliation from Beatrice. She desperately needed to secure a good match.

Julian appeared to be her best option now.

Being selected by the Whitmore family meant Julian was exceptional in every aspect.

Stealing Julian away would be perfect revenge against Harrison—she could finally hold her head high.

`She, a mere Falcon cousin, could still snatch the fiancé of the Whitmore heiress!

Isabella smirked. "Who would've thought Julian's fiancée would be such an eyesore! What man would choose her over a beauty like you? Arabella, I'm certain Julian fancies you."

Arabella had a gift for reading men. That single glance Julian gave her in the car earlier spoke volumes—he was interested.

Rosalind, that plain girl, didn't stand a chance against her.

As the reigning queen of Willowridge University's dance department, adored by countless admirers, winning Julian over would be child's play.

Arabella nodded decisively. "Very well, Isabella. Expect good news soon."

"Rosalind's waiting for Julian to take her to the movies tonight. This is your moment, Arabella."

A blush crept across Arabella's cheeks as she flashed a confident thumbs-up.

Meanwhile, Rosalind returned to the girls' dormitory. She hadn't mentioned her confrontation with Isabella and Arabella to Harrison, who remained unaware of the incident.

Rosalind changed into an elegant dress, twirling before Harrison. "Harrison, do you think Julian will like this dress for our date?"

Harrison was busy writing a prescription. Glancing up at Rosalind's radiant, excited smile, she nodded. "He'll absolutely adore it."

Rosalind decided to wear the dress and began preparing for the evening.

Harrison had recently learned about Julian being Rosalind's fiancé. "Rosalind, why did you choose Julian?"

"I've had this birthmark since childhood. Everyone mocked my appearance, except him. He was the only one who called me beautiful and made me feel valued. Later, he confessed his love, and we got engaged."

Harrison recalled seeing Julian once during a basketball game—surrounded by adoring female fans, his warmth and handsome features undeniable.

Nodding, Harrison approached Rosalind. Gently, she covered Rosalind's left cheek, concealing the birthmark.

Instantly, Rosalind's true beauty emerged—delicate features framed by large, expressive eyes that radiated gentleness and charm.

Without the birthmark, Rosalind could have easily captivated countless suitors.

"Harrison, it's almost time. I should leave now." Fully prepared, Rosalind stood, grabbed her purse, and headed for the door.

Harrison waved with an encouraging smile. "Enjoy your evening!"

Julian had arrived at Willowridge University, preparing to meet Rosalind for their cinema date.

The rain continued pouring as his luxury car remained parked some distance away. He steeled himself to brave the downpour.

Just as he stepped forward, a pink umbrella suddenly appeared above his head.
