Chapter 661

Charlotte sat quietly in the chair, clutching her lollipop tightly while waiting for Harrison.

Without warning, two figures in black emerged from the crowd. One clamped a gloved hand over Charlotte's mouth and yanked her from the seat.

Her eyes widened in panic. She tried to scream for Harrison, but no sound escaped.

The lollipop slipped from her fingers and hit the ground with a soft clink.

The men moved swiftly, carrying her toward the exit.

Meanwhile, Harrison was still on the phone with Oliver. "What's going on?"

"Minor accident on the way to the airport. Nothing serious, but I'll be delayed," Oliver explained.

Harrison exhaled in relief. Just a fender-bender. She had feared worse.

"Just get here safely. I'll make sure the plane waits."

"Understood."

The call ended. Harrison turned back to Charlotte. "Sweetheart, Daddy Ollie—"

Her breath caught.

The chair was empty.

"Charlotte? Charlotte!"

Her voice echoed through the terminal, but there was no response.

Then she spotted the lollipop on the floor.

Her stomach twisted.

Charlotte was gone.

Outside, the men shoved Charlotte toward a black van.

She wasn’t going without a fight.

Sharp teeth sank into one man’s hand.

"Damn brat!" he snarled, recoiling.

Charlotte dropped to the pavement and bolted.

"Get her!"

She ran, screaming, "Mommy! Help!"

A sleek limousine pulled up just then. A maid stepped out, pushing Victoria’s wheelchair.

Victoria’s head snapped up at the desperate cries. "Charlotte?"

The little girl crashed into her arms, trembling. "They’re trying to take me!"

Victoria’s grip tightened protectively. Her glare burned into the approaching men. "Who the hell are you? Kidnapping a child in broad daylight?"

The men smirked. "Old woman, walk away if you value your life."

The maid stepped forward. "Do you have any idea who you're threatening?"

A brutal strike to her neck sent her crumpling to the ground.

Victoria gasped. "You monsters!"

The men advanced. "Hand over the kid, or you’re next."

Charlotte clung to Victoria, shaking. "Don’t let them take me!"

Victoria held her close. "I won’t."

Rough hands grabbed Charlotte. "Time to go, brat."
