Chapter 752
Victoria beamed with maternal warmth. She took Nathaniel's hand and carefully placed it over Harrison's. "Harrison, for Charlotte's happiness, please give Nathaniel another chance—but if he ever breaks your heart again, I won't hesitate to intervene."
"At this point, I'm questioning if I'm actually your son," Nathaniel grumbled playfully.
Harrison's lips curved into a tender smile.
Nathaniel gazed at her, hope shimmering in his eyes. "Marry me, Harrison."
Her resistance crumbled. There was no point clinging to the past when their future beckoned so brightly.
Finally, she nodded. "Yes."
Nathaniel swept her into his arms, spinning her around with unrestrained joy. "Perfect! You're going to be my wife—officially mine!"
Charlotte clapped her tiny hands, giggling. "Yay! Mommy and Daddy are getting married!"
Victoria's smile deepened, her eyes glistening with happiness.
Nathaniel and Harrison had agreed to obtain their marriage license that very day. With the courthouse open, there was no reason to delay.
Nathaniel called Harrison, who was in the middle of sketching designs in her studio when she answered.
"You remember what today is, right?" Nathaniel asked, his voice laced with anticipation.
Harrison chuckled. "How could I forget? Today’s the day we make it official."
Now that she had chosen to rebuild their life together, she was all in—ready to meet him halfway and create the family they both longed for.
Nathaniel checked his watch. "I’ll come get you."
Harrison shook her head. "No need. I’m closer to the courthouse. I’ll drive myself. Let’s meet out front."
"Deal," Nathaniel agreed.
As soon as he hung up, Dominic entered. "Mr. Falcon, there’s an urgent contract requiring your signature."
Nathaniel grinned, unable to contain his excitement. "Clear my schedule. I’m getting married today."
Dominic snapped the file shut, grinning. "Congratulations, sir! You and Mrs. Falcon are finally making it official!"
Nathaniel arched a brow, his eyes dancing with amusement. "Mrs. Falcon—I like the sound of that."
Dominic chuckled. "As you should, sir."
Nathaniel grabbed his keys, ready to leave—until Isabella strode in, her expression stormy.
"Where are you rushing off to?" she demanded.
Nathaniel’s mood darkened. The last person he wanted to see today was Isabella. "What do you want?"
Dominic discreetly slipped out.
Isabella’s eyes burned with frustration. "After all these years, you’re treating me like a stranger? I refuse to believe you never cared for me."
Nathaniel’s voice turned icy. "I was with you because you pretended to be Harrison. I never loved you. She’s the only one who ever had my heart."
Her fists clenched, nails digging into her palms. How could he be so cruel?
Nathaniel’s gaze hardened. "Actually, you’re here at the right time. There’s something you should know."
Isabella narrowed her eyes. "What?"
"Harrison and I are getting married."
Her breath hitched as if struck by lightning. "She actually agreed?"
"Yes. She’s giving us a second chance. We’re starting over."
Isabella’s chest tightened. After everything she’d done, they were still ending up together?
"Soon, Harrison will be my wife," Nathaniel said coldly. "Don’t come looking for me again. I don’t want to see you—and I won’t let my wife misunderstand anything because of you."
