Chapter 565

Victoria's perfect world shattered in an instant.

Theodore had uncovered everything! Her carefully crafted deception was exposed!

Panic surged through Victoria as she scrambled to salvage the situation.

She stepped forward, desperation twisting her features. "Darling, you've got it all wrong. Isabella is our biological daughter, and Harrison is Mr. Lancaster's child!"

Theodore's eyes darkened with a storm of emotions. His voice was raw as he pointed at her. "Do you know what my life's purpose has been? To protect the true heiress. That's why I never wanted children of my own. You know how sacred this duty is to me!"

"I know, my love. Please, don't be angry. Harrison is the one!" Victoria reached for his arm, her fingers trembling.

"Don't touch me!"

He shoved her away violently. Victoria staggered back, slamming into the wall. Theodore's voice cracked with fury. "I'm having a DNA test done immediately. I'll inform Mr. Lancaster and Harrison. Once Henry, Harrison, and Isabella are tested, the truth will be undeniable!"

Theodore was resolute. He would expose everything.

Terror froze Victoria's veins. She felt herself plunging into an abyss.

Everything had been going perfectly today. The blood swap was complete. Victory had been within her grasp.

Then Theodore arrived.

She never imagined he would be the one to unravel her lies first.

"Please, don't go!" Victoria collapsed to her knees, clutching at his legs. "Don't tell Mr. Lancaster! I'm begging you!"

Her voice broke. "You'll destroy Isabella! She's called you Father all these years. Have you no love for her at all?"

Theodore's fists clenched. "My loyalty has always been to the true heiress. If Isabella is a fraud, she deserves nothing from me! I'm telling Henry and Harrison now!"

He turned to leave.

His emotions raged. Protecting the heiress had been his life's mission—one he thought he had fulfilled.

For years, he had cherished Isabella, treating her like royalty.

Now, Harrison might be the real heiress. The revelation gutted him. What had he done all these years? How could he ever face Harrison's mother again?

He needed the truth. And he would get it.

Victoria shot to her feet, her voice sharp. "Theodore, stop! If you want the truth, I'll give it to you!"

He halted, turning slowly. "Then speak."

In that moment, Victoria shed all pretense. Years of jealousy and bitterness erupted. "Yes, Isabella is my daughter. Harrison is the real heiress. I switched them years ago!"

Theodore stared, stunned. "Why?"

"Revenge!" Victoria spat. "Revenge on you—and on that woman you loved! I poisoned Benjamin to be with you, yet you still pined for her. Every secretary, every mistress—they all reminded you of her! You made me waste my love on you, and it destroyed me!"

Her lips curled in triumph. "I knew Harrison was your obsession. So I swapped them. I made you adore my daughter like she was your life's purpose. Do you know how satisfying it was, watching you dote on her while remaining blind? No one humiliates me, Theodore. No one!"
