Chapter 318

Security personnel swiftly intervened. "Ladies, you need to leave now."

"Harrison, how could you do this to us...!"

With a sharp gesture, guards materialized and firmly escorted Margaret, Isabella, Penelope, Victoria, and Cassandra out of the building.

As they were being removed, Margaret nearly tripped, but Isabella and Penelope caught her arms.

"Grandmother, are you okay?"

Margaret violently shook them off, her glare icy. "Did you witness that? Harrison is the true prodigy!"

She had always regarded Isabella and Penelope as the Whitmore family's prized jewels. Never before had she spoken to them so harshly, but now her fury knew no bounds.

"Look at everything I've invested in you two! Private tutors, unlimited resources, and you barely scraped into Ivy League schools. Meanwhile, Harrison grew up in the countryside and now stands equal to Mr. Falcon! What utter disappointments you've become!"

Regret consumed Margaret like wildfire. Severing ties with Harrison was her greatest mistake.

Harrison was the genius who could have brought the Whitmore family unprecedented glory.

Together, Isabella and Penelope couldn't hold a candle to Harrison.

The sisters stood frozen, faces drained of color, too terrified to defend themselves. All their past insults to Harrison now made them look like pathetic fools in her eyes.

Victoria stepped forward hesitantly. "Mother—"

"Silence!" Margaret snapped, her glare venomous. "You're the most worthless of them all!"

Victoria stiffened. In that moment, she hated Harrison with every fiber of her being. How could the child they'd discarded become this brilliant?

"I can't stand the sight of any of you! You're giving me a migraine!" Margaret hissed before storming away.

"Margaret!"

"Grandmother!"

Penelope, Victoria, and Cassandra hurried after her.

Isabella remained rooted in place, jaw clenched so tightly she tasted blood.

Why did it have to be Harrison? The genius freshman, Nathaniel's junior! Would he regret his choices now?

Who wouldn't be drawn to such brilliance? Today Nathaniel discovered the housewife who'd orbited him for three years was actually a genius who could stand as his equal. Would he fall for her now?

Nathaniel didn't get another chance to speak with Harrison, as Rosalind arrived.

Rosalind practically vibrated with excitement. "Harrison, is it really you? The prodigy?"

Harrison smiled. "In person."

"Oh my god! Harrison, I swear I'm completely obsessed with you," Rosalind gushed, admiration overflowing.

Harrison chuckled. "We should head back."

The Global Scholars Forum had concluded. After bidding farewell to Julian and others, Harrison left with Rosalind.

They planned to return to their dorm.

Just then, Nathaniel's tall silhouette appeared. His voice was deep and smooth. "Let me drive you home."

He wanted Harrison with him.

Before she could respond, Lucas Harrington, the tech mogul, approached, his gaze intent. "Harrison, where are you headed? My car is waiting."

He too wanted to chauffeur Harrison.

Rosalind's eyes darted between the two powerful men, realization dawning.

Both wanted to take Harrison home. Which would she choose?
