Chapter 521

Nathaniel stood motionless, his piercing gaze locked onto the ashen faces of the Whitmore family.

His finger shot out like a blade, pointing directly at Isabella. "Mr. Falcon, she's nothing but a deceitful snake!"

Gabrielle chimed in sharply, "Exactly! The only person who deserves your attention right now is her!"

Nathaniel slowly released his grip on Harrison and turned, his bloodshot eyes burning into Isabella.

Isabella's face went deathly pale. "Nathaniel, please—just let me explain—"

His stare was glacial, cutting through her like winter wind.

"Fine. One chance." His voice was dangerously low. "Tell me—why did you steal Harrison's identity? Why take her pendant? Why lie to me for years? Choose your words carefully. If your explanation disappoints me, the Whitmore family will cease to exist."

The Whitmores looked like ghosts, their faces drained of color.

Margaret's knees gave out, and she nearly collapsed. She couldn't let the family fall. Not like this.

Isabella lunged forward, clutching Nathaniel's sleeve. "I'm sorry! I was wrong—I impersonated Harrison, but only because I love you! I love you so much—"

Before she could finish, Nathaniel shoved her away violently. "Your feelings mean nothing!"

She crashed to the floor with a cry.

Victoria and Theodore rushed to her side. "Isabella! Are you hurt?"

Nathaniel looked down at her with pure revulsion.

"Do you honestly think I would've kept you around if I knew the truth? All these years, I believed you were Harrison. Because of you, I lost years with the woman I love. You made us strangers when we should've been together. Isabella, you sicken me."

Tears streamed down Isabella's cheeks.

"Please don't be angry! I never meant to hurt you—I just—I love you—"

Rosalind cut in with a venomous laugh. "Love? The only person you love is yourself! Four years ago, when Mr. Falcon was in a coma, you couldn't run fast enough. Now that he's awake, you crawl back like a parasite. You're selfish, manipulative, and cruel. All you care about is money and power!"

Gabrielle sneered. "If Harrison hadn't exposed you, we'd still be living in your lies. You would've spent your whole life pretending to be her, using her name for your own gain. You're the most despicable person I've ever met."

Isabella scrambled toward Nathaniel on her knees, reaching for him desperately. "Nathaniel, it's not what you think—please, just listen—"

His expression didn't waver. The fury in his eyes was scorching.

"Enough. I gave you your chance, and you wasted it. I don't want to hear another word from you."

It felt like being thrown into an abyss. Isabella's chest constricted violently, a sharp, unbearable pain shooting through her heart.

Clutching her chest, she gasped. "Nathaniel—my heart—it hurts—"

Victoria immediately cried out. "Mr. Falcon, the doctors said stress could kill her! She can't handle this!"

Theodore added urgently, "We need to operate now! Everything else can wait!"

Nathaniel's lips curled into a cruel smile. "Surgery? Let me make one thing clear—there will be no surgery."

No surgery.

The words struck Isabella like a death sentence.

She looked up at him, her eyes wild with panic.

"No! You can't do this! I need that surgery! The pain—it's unbearable—"
