Chapter 332
Nathaniel slowly turned his striking features toward Harrison.
Harrison was focused on tending to the swelling on his forehead, oblivious to their compromising position. Then Nathaniel suddenly shifted, and she felt the unexpected brush of his lips against hers.
His cool mouth met her soft ones in a fleeting kiss.
Harrison's wide emerald eyes froze in shock.
Nathaniel regarded her steadily. "Harrison, you kissed me." His accusation hung in the frosty air.
She opened her mouth to protest when Lucas Harrington's voice cut through the silence. "Harrison? Harrison!"
"She was just skiing over here! Where'd she go?" The search party had noticed her absence.
"I'm—" Harrison began.
Nathaniel's large hand cradled her head, pulling her into another searing kiss.
What the hell?
She struggled against his iron grip as he deepened the kiss, his tongue claiming her mouth.
Lucas's footsteps crunched nearby. "Harrison? Where are you?"
Her heart hammered against her ribs. Lucas stood mere feet away while she lay tangled with Nathaniel behind the boulder, locked in their scandalous embrace.
Nathaniel's breathing grew ragged. The woman straddling him had no idea how tightly she was gripping his tongue—or how her knees pressed dangerously against his growing arousal.
"Lucas, she's not here. Maybe she went to the lodge?"
"Let's check the other slope."
As their voices faded, Harrison sagged with relief. Being discovered like this would ruin everything.
Nathaniel wasn't just Willowbrook's elusive billionaire—he was its golden prince. No one knew his darker side. Except her.
She shoved against his chest, wiping her mouth furiously. "What was that?"
Nathaniel lay back in the snow, shielding his darkened gaze. "You started it. I finished it. We're even."
"That's not—" Harrison scrambled off him.
Nathaniel sat up, catching her wrist. "Accept my friend request." His command brooked no argument.
"Never!"
His grip tightened as he pulled her flush against him. "Would you prefer we continue where we left off?" His whisper burned against her ear.
Harrison stiffened as someone glanced their way. With trembling fingers, she yanked out her phone. "Fine!"
She accepted his Facebook request with an angry tap.
"Happy? You're clearly not dying. Let's go."
Nathaniel caught her again.
"What now?"
His piercing gaze held hers. "You still haven't answered me, Harrison. Have we met before?"
If he wanted the truth so badly...
"Nathaniel, we—"
