Chapter 259
Harrison's delicate frame began to slide downward, but Nathaniel's powerful arms caught her just in time, his grip firm around her slender waist.
His scorching kiss made her feel like she might dissolve into nothingness.
Nathaniel's fingers moved to unfasten her buttons, his voice rough with desire. "Do you have protection?"
She shook her head weakly.
"I'll have Dominic bring some," he murmured, reaching for his phone.
Harrison stopped him immediately. The thought of his secretary delivering condoms made her cheeks burn with embarrassment. She'd never be able to look Dominic in the eye again.
"Don't..."
His lips trailed down her neck, sending shivers down her spine. "Don't what?"
His short hair tickled her sensitive skin as she tangled her fingers in it, trying halfheartedly to push him away. "Nathaniel, please stop."
Her thoughts were scrambled. This wasn't supposed to happen again. Today had spiraled out of control completely.
Nathaniel captured her lips once more. "I need you, Harrison."
Harrison.
He'd said her name exactly like that night. The memory made her flush crimson. Her hands, which had been pulling at his hair, went slack before wrapping weakly around his neck.
Nathaniel reached for his phone again.
"No... It's safe... I can't get pregnant right now..." Her voice trembled with emotion.
A faint smile curved his lips as he pulled her into another searing kiss.
Late night footsteps echoed through the dormitory hallway as girls returned from dates.
"Did you hear that?"
"What?"
"Sounded like bedsprings."
"You're imagining things. Let's go inside."
Their laughter faded as doors closed.
On the heart-patterned sheets, Nathaniel wore only a partially buttoned white shirt that revealed his toned abdomen. His dark eyes burned with hunger as he looked at the girl straddling him.
His calloused hands gripped her waist gently. "Relax," he murmured. "They're gone now."
Her long black hair tumbled wildly around her flushed skin. She buried her face in his shoulder, near tears. "Nathaniel, someone might hear..."
He kissed her tenderly. "I've got you."
His words echoed in her mind.
Harrison's lips felt swollen from his kisses. From the start, Nathaniel had taken complete control, leaving her no choice but surrender.
"Harrison," he breathed, voice strained. "That night... was it your first? Had there been anyone before me?"
Her damp eyes met his. "You already know the answer."
"I want to hear you say it."
She nodded slowly. "There's only ever been you."
His satisfied smirk sent heat through her body.
Harrison felt like a tiny boat tossed by violent waves - lifted high only to crash down again.
As she lost herself in sensation, his hoarse whisper cut through the haze. "Me too."
Me too? What did that mean?
Before she could process it, he gave her no chance to think.
At the Whitmore estate, Isabella sat rigid on the sofa, fingers clenched around her phone as she redialed Nathaniel's number repeatedly.
It was late. She'd summoned him, confident he would come running as always.
Harrison was no threat to her. Never had been.
