Chapter 66

The bathroom door flew open, releasing a swirl of steam that framed Nathaniel's imposing figure as he stepped out, water droplets glistening on his toned physique.

Nathaniel wore a deep crimson silk robe that clung to his damp skin. His sharp ears immediately caught Alexander's playful invitation to Harrison for a night out.

Harrison turned and found Nathaniel watching them with predatory intensity.

"I'll text you later, Alexander," she said abruptly, ending the call. Her voice remained steady but icy. "I'm leaving."

She grabbed her purse, but Nathaniel's voice, smooth yet dangerous, stopped her mid-step. "Running off to Alexander so soon?"

Harrison ignored him, turning toward the door. Nathaniel moved like lightning, his fingers encircling her slender wrist like a manacle.

She stiffened. His skin burned against hers, feverish and unrelenting. The cold shower had done nothing to quell whatever fire raged inside him.

When she tried to pull away, Nathaniel pinned her against the wall with terrifying ease. "Tell me, Harrison. How intimate have you and Alexander become?"

Her phone hit the carpet with a sickening crunch, the screen shattering.

In the dim light, Nathaniel loomed over her, demanding answers about her relationship with another man.

Harrison's dark lashes fluttered like trapped butterflies, her eyes blazing with humiliation and fury. "That's none of your business!"

Nathaniel tilted his head, a dark chuckle rumbling in his chest as he studied her captive wrist. His smirk never wavered.

The aphrodisiac pulsed through his veins, but he'd believed himself stronger than this. Yet one look at her defiant expression had shattered his control. The cold shower had only stoked the flames.

And now she wanted to run to another man?

His gaze dropped to her parted lips. He traced them with his thumb, eyes glinting dangerously. "Tell me, Harrison. Would you rather have his lips on you... or mine?"

Harrison gaped at him, stunned by his audacity. The man had clearly lost his mind.

She shoved against his chest. "Release me this inst—"

Her words were cut off as Nathaniel crushed his mouth to hers.

Harrison's eyes flew wide as he dominated the kiss, forcing her lips apart with ruthless precision. She gasped for air, twisting in his grasp. "Nathaniel, don't—"

He trapped her delicate hand in his larger one, squeezing just shy of painful. His voice emerged rough with need. "Harrison... I need you."

Every inch of him burned for her. She was his greatest temptation, his most dangerous addiction.

Panicked, Harrison struggled against his iron grip.

But Nathaniel only pulled her closer, his breath hot against her neck. "Nathaniel, stop! There are other ways to help you—ah!" Her cry sliced through the tension.

Nathaniel's vision blurred red. He buried his face in her hair, lips brushing her ear. "Tell me, Harrison. Who holds your heart? Him... or me?"

His gravelly voice dripped with cruel charm, mocking her predicament.

Harrison's knees threatened to buckle as she twisted away from his seeking mouth. "Nathaniel, I swear if you don't—"

A sharp knock interrupted them. "Mr. Falcon? Ms. Isabella has arrived."
