Chapter 263

Isabella didn't want Harrison here.

Harrison turned to look at Nathaniel.

Still holding Isabella's hand, he slowly lifted his gaze to meet hers.

Their eyes locked.

Before Nathaniel could speak, Harrison shifted her gaze and briefly glanced at Isabella before offering a small, polite smile. "I'm glad you're okay. I'll leave now."

She turned and walked away.

But she didn't leave immediately. She stood outside the door, listening to the conversation inside.

Isabella's voice was filled with sorrow as she accused Nathaniel, "Nathaniel, tell me. Did you sleep with Harrison?"

Nathaniel looked at the door for a moment before his eyes settled back on Isabella's pale face. "Isabella, I'm sorry."

He admitted it.

Isabella bit her lip. "Nathaniel, why? You told me you and Harrison were over!"

Nathaniel's expression darkened. Yes, he had told Isabella that he and Harrison were finished, but he couldn't stop himself from seeking out Harrison.

"Nathaniel, you've forgotten my warning. I told you not to touch Harrison, not to sleep with her! Now that it's happened, I'm giving you a chance to make things right. I forgive you, but you have to choose between me and Harrison. I want you to divorce her immediately!"

Harrison, standing just outside the door, heard those words. Once again, Isabella was forcing Nathaniel to make a choice.

Would he choose Harrison or Isabella?

Isabella was demanding that he divorce Harrison now.

Harrison lowered her head, her whole body trembling slightly. After a long pause, she turned and walked away, the light from the hallway stretching her slender silhouette long and thin.

Inside the VIP room, Nathaniel furrowed his brow. "Isabella..."

"Nathaniel, is this choice so hard for you? I know Harrison is good at seducing men. She must have tricked you into bed. But sex and love are separate for men, right? You just used her to satisfy your physical needs, but you love me, right? Nathaniel, if I'm not the one you want to be with anymore, there's no reason for me to live. I'll kill myself right now!"

With those words, Isabella became hysterical, sitting up and attempting to tear the bandages from her wrist. The wound began to bleed again, and the fresh blood soaked through the cloth, turning it crimson.

Nathaniel's face went pale as he rushed to stop her. "Isabella, what are you doing? Stop!"

"Don't stop me!" Isabella screamed, her eyes filled with fury and pain. "You want me dead, don't you? I'll make sure you'll never have me again!"

She pushed at Nathaniel, struggling so fiercely that she lost her balance and fell off the bed, crashing to the floor.

"Ah, Isabella!" Victoria screamed in panic.

Nathaniel immediately reached out, pulling her into his arms. "Isabella, are you crazy?"

Tears streamed down Isabella's face. "Do you not want me anymore? Big Brother, you promised you'd be there for me! You're my Big Brother, aren't you?"

Her calling him "Big Brother" made Nathaniel's muscles tighten as veins bulged on his forehead. He held her tighter, his voice rough and reassuring. "I won't leave you, promise."

"Then divorce Harrison. I want you to divorce her!"

The pain in Nathaniel's eyes was palpable.

Victoria spoke up, her voice desperate. "Mr. Falcon, you lost your way for a moment with Harrison. Isabella is the one you truly love. Ask yourself, who do you love- Harrison or Isabella?"

In his mind, Nathaniel saw Harrison's delicate face, the image of her sweet, innocent features. He closed his eyes, forcing the image of her away. The person he loved was always Isabella.

Isabella was his little girl. He couldn't let anything happen to her.

When it came to choosing between Harrison and Isabella, there was no question.

He would choose Isabella. After a long silence, Nathaniel's hoarse voice finally broke through.

"Alright, I'll divorce Harrison."
