Chapter 180

Harrison shut the door with a soft click, her eyes widening at the sight before her. The bed was strewn with intimate apparel and protection packets she definitely hadn't purchased.

Her breath caught. This couldn't be right.

Room service must have made a terrible mistake.

Alexander emerged from the bathroom, towel-drying his damp hair. He froze mid-step when he saw the display. "Harrison, what's all this?"

The confusion in his voice confirmed he wasn't responsible either. Then how...

Ding-dong!

The chime echoed through the suite again.

"I've got it," Alexander said, moving toward the entrance.

When he opened the door, Nathaniel and Isabella stood framed in the doorway.

Harrison's pulse quickened. Weren't they supposed to be in the adjacent luxury suite?

"Nathaniel, what brings you here?" Alexander's voice held genuine surprise.

Nathaniel's baritone was smooth as aged whiskey. "Our suite's security system failed. Maintenance needs to run diagnostics overnight." His gaze flickered past Alexander to Harrison. "We'll be sharing your accommodations tonight."

Harrison's fingers twitched. Share? Tonight? Here?

Four adults in one suite.

The Presidential Suite had space, but the arrangement felt... charged.

Isabella looked equally displeased. Earlier, the hotel manager had personally apologized, explaining all other rooms were booked solid due to some corporate event.

The timing was too perfect to be coincidence.

Nathaniel studied Alexander's face. "Problem?"

Alexander stepped aside with forced cheer. "Of course not. Come in."

As they entered, Harrison's mind raced. The incriminating items still lay in plain sight. With a frantic motion, she scooped them up and concealed them behind her back.

But Nathaniel's sharp eyes missed nothing. His gaze lingered on her hidden hands, one eyebrow arching slightly.

"Harrison," Isabella purred, "so sorry to intrude on your... evening." Her emphasis made Harrison's cheeks burn.

What could she say? Trapped with her arms twisted awkwardly behind her, Harrison forced a tight smile. "No trouble at all. If you'll excuse me, I'll just... freshen up."

Harrison entered the bathroom and flipped the shower switch.

Water cascaded down with a rhythmic patter.

She lingered by the vanity, her fingertips tracing the delicate lace edges of the scandalous lingerie. The daring cut made her cheeks burn - how could she possibly put this on?

The door hinges groaned without warning.

Harrison's head snapped up, meeting Nathaniel's smoldering gaze in the mirror's reflection.

He'd slipped in while she was showering.

With Isabella and Alexander just beyond the door.

Her breath hitched as she whirled around. "Have you lost your mind? Get out this instant!"

She shoved against his chest with both hands.

Nathaniel advanced instead, his towering frame eliminating the space between them.

The black silk still tangled around Harrison's fingers, the intimate garment amplifying the tension.

She hastily concealed it behind her back, lashes fluttering like trapped butterflies. "Mr. Falcon, I swear I'll scream if you don't leave right now."

A predatory grin curved his lips as he caged her against the counter. "Be my guest. Let's see how Alexander reacts when I tell him you invited me in... that you've been begging for my attention all evening."
