Chapter 98
"Mrs. Whitmore, you must help me! Nathaniel locked me up—I barely escaped, but if he finds me, I'm done for!" Vincent's voice shook with terror, the memories of his past still tormenting him. He clutched Victoria's arm desperately.
Victoria would never refuse. Vincent was her golden ticket, the perfect leverage against Harrison. She couldn't let this opportunity slip through her fingers.
"Mother, what's our next move?" Isabella whispered, her brow furrowed with worry.
Theodore's expression darkened. Just when Victoria had finally pleased him, another problem arose.
"Victoria, explain yourself," he demanded, irritation lacing his tone.
She turned to him, placing a soothing hand on his arm. "Darling, don't fret. This isn't the end."
Isabella's eyes lit up. "You have a plan?"
"Call Sebastian. He'd do anything for you, wouldn't he? Now's the time to cash in that favor."
Sebastian genuinely adored Isabella, treating her like royalty.
She nodded eagerly. "I'll contact him immediately."
Within half an hour, Sebastian arrived at the Whitmore estate. "Isabella, what's so urgent?"
She grabbed his hand. "Sebastian, there's someone you need to meet."
Vincent immediately dropped to his knees before Sebastian. "Mr. Gondale, please! Save me!"
Sebastian frowned. "Aren't you Harrison's adoptive father? What's happened?"
Tears streamed down Vincent's face. "Harrison despises me because I'm from the countryside. She denies our relationship—calls me a stain on her perfect life. She even sent thugs to beat me! Look at these wounds—all her doing! She wants me dead!"
Victoria sighed dramatically. "I never imagined Harrison could be so cruel."
Sebastian's face twisted in rage. "That ungrateful wretch! How dare she treat her own father this way!"
"Should we let her get away with this?" Isabella's voice turned icy.
"What do you propose?"
A calculated smile played on Isabella's lips. "Let's hold a press conference. Invite every major outlet in Willowbrook. We'll expose Harrison's true nature to the world."
Sebastian nodded instantly. "Consider it done. It's time Alexander and Nathaniel see her for the monster she is."
Victoria and Isabella exchanged triumphant glances.
They knew Harrison would never admit what Vincent had done to her—doing so would ruin her forever. Once that secret was out, she'd be finished.
With this leverage, they could control Harrison through Vincent, keeping her trapped in their web forever.
This press conference would be their grand performance—a chance to watch Harrison crumble under pressure.
Victoria squeezed Isabella's hand. "Sebastian is wrapped around your finger. Make sure you use that advantage."
Isabella smirked. "Don't worry, Mother. Sebastian loathes Harrison. He's the perfect weapon."
She knew exactly how to manipulate Sebastian's feelings for her.
Meanwhile, at Falcon Enterprises...
Nathaniel had just returned with Harrison for an important business meeting when Dominic burst into the office, panic-stricken.
"Mr. Falcon, we have a problem—Vincent has escaped!"
