Chapter 186

The photograph in Harrison's hands revealed everything.

Her breath caught as she turned to face Isabella. "Isabella... Did you send this to that man?"

A flicker of rage darkened Isabella's eyes. Why had Alexander taken the hit meant for Harrison? Why wasn't she the one bleeding?

Now the evidence was exposed.

Nathaniel snatched the photo from Harrison's grip. His piercing gaze locked onto Isabella, colder than winter frost.

Isabella shivered. "What photo? I don't understand! Harrison, I know you're upset about Alexander, but don't make wild accusations!"

"Look closely, Isabella. Your stupidity is showing." Harrison's voice dripped with venom.

Isabella's eyes darted to the corner of the photo. Her stomach dropped. The telltale watermark from her phone glared back at her.

She cursed herself for forgetting to remove it. Her connection to Dominic Graves was undeniable now.

Nathaniel's glacial stare made her blood run cold. She'd never seen him look at her like that—like she was prey.

"I-It's not what you think!" she stammered, clutching Nathaniel's arm. "Please, let me explain—"

Harrison cut her off. "Explain what? That you nearly got Alexander killed?"

Her hands trembled, still stained with Alexander's blood. He was fighting for his life in surgery—all because of Isabella's scheming.

Isabella wanted Harrison dead, and Alexander had almost paid the price.

Yet here stood Nathaniel, shielding Isabella like always. His loyalty never wavered, no matter how vile her actions.

Harrison's pale eyes burned with fury. She met Nathaniel's gaze without flinching.

"I won't let you touch her," Nathaniel murmured, his voice dangerously soft. "She had nothing to do with this."

Behind him, Isabella's lips curled in triumph.

The slap echoed through the hospital corridor.

Nathaniel's head snapped to the side, a red mark blooming on his cheek. Harrison's palm stung from the impact.

Isabella gasped. "Have you lost your mind? You hit Nathaniel!"

No one dared raise a hand to Nathaniel Hawk. Until now.

Before Isabella could react, Harrison's hand flew again—this time striking Isabella square across the face.

Isabella staggered back, shock rendering her speechless.

Harrison had struck them both.

Nathaniel slowly turned back, his stormy eyes meeting Harrison's icy glare. She stood tall despite her petite frame, her gaze unyielding.

"Keep her close," Harrison warned, her voice razor-sharp. "Because if she crosses my path again, you won't be able to protect her."
