Alexander had his answer. "I know Nathaniel. He'll never leave Isabella."

Harrison nodded slowly. "Yes, I understand."

Her phone buzzed again. Penelope's name flashed on the screen.

She answered, and Penelope's excited voice chirped through. "Harrison, come to the Whitmore estate! Everyone's gathering for dinner tonight. You have to be here!"

Harrison hesitated, but Penelope added, "I'm bringing Dr. Sinclair home tonight, so you must come!"

Her tone sharpened with curiosity. "Alright. I'll be there."

That evening, Harrison arrived at the Whitmore estate.

The entire property glittered with decorations, as if celebrating a grand occasion. Servants bustled about, arranging lavish platters of food and crystal glasses.

As she stepped inside, she caught whispers between two maids.

"Tonight, Ms. Penelope is introducing her boyfriend! Do you know who it is? Dr. Sinclair!"

"Dr. Sinclair? Oh my god—I can't believe we'll see him in person!"
