Chapter 301

Harrison glanced up to see Rosalind standing there. Rosalind had finally arrived!

A triumphant grin spread across Harrison's face. She'd been waiting for this moment. At last, Rosalind was here.

Rosalind approached Arabella, whose anger was practically radiating off her in waves.

"Rosalind, these people are absolutely vile - utterly shameless! They're twisting reality to suit their narrative," Arabella seethed.

"I know, Arabella," Rosalind soothed with a calm, steadying look.

Harrison smirked knowingly. "Rosalind, perfect timing. Your dear friend Arabella claims Julian told her he loved her. Do you actually believe that? Some self-awareness would be helpful. Let me ask you plainly: Do you think Arabella is unattractive?"

The challenge in Harrison's voice was unmistakable.

Rosalind arched one perfectly shaped eyebrow, her piercing gaze locking onto Harrison's. "Absolutely not. In fact, Arabella is breathtaking."

What?

"Hah!"

"Ha!"

Harrison, Julian, and Arabella burst into mocking laughter.

Arabella doubled over with amusement. "Rosalind, did you just call Arabella breathtaking?"

Harrison was certain she'd trapped Rosalind now. "Rosalind, you and Arabella truly deserve each other!"

Julian studied Arabella critically. While not conventionally beautiful, there was something about her - those eyes. Clear, luminous, sparkling with intelligence. He'd never seen eyes quite like them before.

The surrounding students erupted in laughter. "Rosalind, I think you need to check your dictionary for the definition of 'breathtaking'."

"Yeah, we know you're close with Arabella, but blatant lies won't help anyone."

Watching Rosalind and Arabella become objects of ridicule filled Harrison with smug satisfaction.

Rosalind remained unruffled. She stood with her characteristic poised elegance, then turned to wink at Arabella. "Arabella, time for the truth. That birthmark on your face... It's not real!"

Silence fell like a curtain.

The birthmark was fake?

Arabella froze. She tugged urgently at Rosalind's sleeve, whispering, "Rosalind, this birthmark is real!"

Harrison stepped forward, skepticism written across her features. "Rosalind, if you claim Arabella's birthmark is fake, then prove it!"

Julian and Arabella moved closer. Julian was adamant. "I've known Arabella for years. She was born with that mark. There's no way it's fake. She's just not attractive."

Rosalind fixed Julian with an icy stare. "Are you afraid?"

Julian blinked in confusion. "Of what?"

"Afraid that Arabella might transform into the stunning beauty you've always desired? Worried you'll regret discarding her?"

Julian scoffed. "I'll never regret that decision!"

"Fine," Rosalind spat, "remember those words. Don't come crawling back later."

With deliberate movements, Rosalind produced a makeup remover wipe from her pocket. "Arabella, stay still. I'm removing that birthmark right now."

Arabella looked utterly bewildered. She shot Rosalind a warning glance. "Rosalind!"

Rosalind met Arabella's gaze steadily before stepping closer. Her delicate fingers brushed Arabella's cheek with surprising gentleness.

As she began wiping, Rosalind murmured, "This mark has been with you too long. Time to reveal your true beauty."

Arabella didn't believe for a second this would work - until she saw the stunned expressions around her. The birthmark was actually fading.

A collective gasp echoed through the crowd. Every person present seemed to inhale sharply at the same moment, shocked by what they were witnessing.

Before anyone could process it, the birthmark had vanished completely, revealing Arabella's flawless, porcelain skin. Like a precious gem finally freed from its rough exterior.

Within moments, Arabella's true face was unveiled in all its perfection.
