Chapter 399
Nathaniel doubted Harrison would actually appear.
The Whitmore family shared his skepticism.
All eyes were fixed on the entrance, waiting.
Then, a sleek Bentley pulled up with silent precision. The doors opened to reveal an elegant silhouette stepping out.
Harrison had arrived.
Dominic's face brightened. "Mr. Falcon, Ms. Harrison is here! She actually came!"
Nathaniel lifted his gaze, his piercing eyes locking onto Harrison.
Margaret rushed forward. "Harrison, you're cutting it close. Nearly late."
Harrison's lips curved into a knowing smile. "I'm perfectly on time. There's still sixty seconds remaining. Is your patience really that limited?"
Margaret faltered, momentarily speechless.
Isabella scoffed loudly. "Enough chatter! Where's this imposter Dr. Sinclair?"
She scanned the area, but Harrison stood alone. No companions in sight.
"Harrison, you came empty-handed?" Isabella sneered. "I knew it! You never had the resources to produce him. Just another one of your pathetic lies!"
She clutched Margaret's arm dramatically. "Grandmother, see? She failed! I told you - how could a mere homemaker like her possibly deliver?"
Harrison regarded Isabella with amused detachment. "Do you want me to produce the fake doctor or not? Your hypocrisy is showing. Might I suggest a psychiatric evaluation?"
Isabella's mouth snapped shut, her face flushing. Harrison had exposed her inner conflict perfectly.
The truth was undeniable - Isabella was torn between two desires.
She needed Harrison to succeed to preserve her privileged lifestyle.
Yet she couldn't stand the thought of Harrison outshining her.
Margaret shot Isabella a warning glare. "Silence! Catching this fraud benefits us all."
Isabella sulked, nursing her wounded pride.
Penelope stepped forward. "The agreed time has arrived. Where is he?"
Victoria added sharply, "Produce him now or admit your deception. We won't tolerate wasted time."
Harrison's crimson lips curved upward. She brought her hands together in a sharp clap.
The sound triggered movement. A dark SUV accelerated toward them. Two imposing figures in black emerged, dragging a hooded figure between them.
Margaret gasped. "Is that the imposter?"
Harrison nodded. "Watch closely."
With deliberate motion, she removed the sack, revealing the man's face.
There stood the fraudulent Dr. Sinclair.
The crowd froze in shock. Against all odds, Harrison had delivered - precisely on schedule.
Isabella and Victoria gaped in disbelief. "It's really him!"
Penelope's composure shattered. This man had stolen her innocence and her fortune. The betrayal burned fresh.
She launched herself at him, fists flying. "You lying snake! Give me back everything you stole!"
The imposter's battered face told of prior punishment. He ignored Penelope's assault, trembling as he stared at Harrison.
"You...you're inhuman! A monster!"
Isabella frowned. "What nonsense is this? Why fear Harrison? She's just a worthless housewife. What could she possibly do to frighten you?"
