Chapter 401
This chapter revealed Harrison's past, a secret known only to Theodore and Margaret. There was also Benjamin, who had discovered the truth but paid for it with his life.
Theodore quickly intervened. "Mother, that's enough!"
Margaret immediately understood the gravity and fell silent.
Victoria had been straining to catch every word, hoping for valuable information. The sudden silence left her frustrated.
Isabella and Penelope cornered the imposter posing as Dr. Sinclair.
"You fraud! Return our money immediately!"
"How dare you deceive us - you'll regret this!"
Their fury erupted at the con artist who had put the Whitmore family through hell these past days.
"Now that we've caught this fake Dr. Sinclair, we need to recover our funds quickly," Margaret stated.
Theodore and Frederick nodded in agreement. "Absolutely."
Nearby, a sleek Bentley remained parked discreetly, its occupants observing the unfolding drama.
Dominic looked surprised. "Mr. Nathaniel, Ms. Harrison actually found the imposter before we did and brought him here. She's proving more enigmatic than we imagined. Or am I mistaken?"
Nathaniel sat motionless, his expression inscrutable. If this was an illusion, they were sharing it. Harrison did appear increasingly mysterious.
"Follow her," Nathaniel commanded coolly. "Let's see where she goes next."
"Yes, sir."
The Bentley pulled away, trailing Harrison's vehicle. Nathaniel's gaze sharpened. He felt close to uncovering the truth, on the verge of discovering Harrison's real identity.
Thirty minutes later, Harrison arrived at Vitalis Health.
Dominic observed, "Mr. Nathaniel, Ms. Harrison has entered Vitalis Health. What's her connection to this place?"
Nathaniel watched Harrison's slender figure disappear through the glass doors. "We'll find out soon enough."
They followed her inside, ascending to the top floor where a team of black-suited security personnel stood waiting.
Dominic whispered, "Mr. Nathaniel, look at this reception. Vitalis Health is rolling out the red carpet for Ms. Harrison."
Nathaniel's lips pressed into a thin line.
What was Harrison hiding? Who was she really?
As Nathaniel moved forward, his steps faltered when a familiar tall figure appeared - Oliver.
The security team bowed respectfully. "Mr. Oliver."
Oliver approached Harrison. "You're here. Let's go inside."
Harrison nodded. "Alright."
They disappeared together through the doors.
Nathaniel stood frozen, stunned by Oliver's unexpected appearance.
"So it's Mr. Oliver! Ms. Harrison came to Vitalis Health to meet him. These must be his men. I completely misread the situation earlier," Dominic said.
Nathaniel had believed himself moments from the truth, only for Oliver's appearance to derail everything.
"Mr. Nathaniel, it's clear now. Mr. Oliver must have orchestrated the imposter's capture. Ms. Harrison has been trying to recover her father's ashes, so they staged this to make the Whitmores approach her. Everything makes sense now. We overcomplicated things," Dominic reasoned, piecing together the puzzle.
