Chapter 431

Harrison knew the moment had come to reveal herself at last. The Whitmore family was responsible for her father's tragic death, and now the time had arrived to settle that score permanently.

Then there was Nathaniel. He'd been desperate to uncover Dr. Sinclair's true identity.

Well, she was finally prepared to tell him.

In the CEO's office at Falcon Enterprises, Nathaniel sat behind his imposing desk reviewing contracts. His fountain pen moved with swift precision as he signed each document with a decisive flourish.

The door opened silently as Dominic entered. "Mr. Falcon, we've received an update about Dr. Sinclair."

Nathaniel's hand stilled, the pen hovering above the paper. His piercing gaze lifted to meet Dominic's. "Continue."

"We've just been informed that Dr. Sinclair will attend tonight's dinner. The real doctor has arrived in Willowbrook and requested to meet with you there."

Nathaniel's expression darkened, his jaw tightening. After years of searching and dealing with that imposter, the genuine Dr. Sinclair had finally surfaced.

Tonight, he would finally confront this mysterious figure. A cold smile curved Nathaniel's lips. "Excellent. We'll meet tonight at the dinner."

Later that afternoon, Nathaniel arrived at the private hospital suite. Victoria had called earlier claiming Isabella's heart condition had worsened and she needed his presence.

Entering the room, he found Isabella seething with rage. "Nathaniel! What happened last night? Why were you with Harrison? I know she's scheming - buying that house across from yours was clearly deliberate!"

"Isabella," Nathaniel interrupted sharply.

She glared at him, barely containing her fury.

Nathaniel exhaled slowly before responding. "I went to see Harrison last night."

"What?!"

Isabella froze momentarily before covering her ears dramatically. "I don't want to hear this! I won't listen! Nathaniel, when I went abroad before, I allowed Harrison to take my place in the marriage. If you've slept with her, I'll forgive you, but don't let her manipulate you!"

"She may have degrees, but she's just been a housewife these years. You couldn't possibly fall for someone like that!"

"Fine, Harrison is beautiful and knows how to handle men. That must be why you noticed her. She satisfied you in bed, so now you're paying attention. She's just using her looks to get what she wants. You don't love her. You love me!"

Nathaniel's expression remained unreadable. Part of Isabella's tirade held truth - Harrison did possess an uncanny ability to please him, particularly between the sheets.

His mind flashed to last night - the way Harrison's body had responded to his touch. Just the memory made his pulse quicken.

He'd spent the entire night holding her, an exquisite torture unlike anything he'd experienced. This inexplicable need to see her again consumed him.

He'd always valued educated, career-driven women who could challenge him intellectually. Harrison was brilliant, a prodigy, but as a housewife she lacked professional ambition - the opposite of his usual preference.

Yet with her, none of that mattered. He couldn't explain why.

Isabella's voice trembled. "I'm unwell. The doctors said I can't handle stress. Don't say anything that will upset me."

Nathaniel's lips thinned. "Dr. Sinclair has arrived in Willowbrook."

Isabella froze, her eyes widening before filling with sudden joy. "Truly? The real Dr. Sinclair is here?"
