Chapter 442
Isabella scoffed. "Harrison must be aware you're searching for her, and she's intentionally avoiding you. What a calculating woman!"
Margaret added, "Mr. Falcon, don't trouble yourself about Harrison. She's perfectly safe."
Dominic observed the indifferent members of the Whitmore family and questioned whether Harrison truly shared their bloodline.
Dominic then announced, "Mr. Falcon, I have excellent news."
Nathaniel fixed his gaze on him. "What news?"
"Dr. Sinclair just reached out. The doctor couldn't attend last night's banquet due to an emergency but will visit the hospital first thing tomorrow morning to examine Ms. Isabella."
Isabella's eyes sparkled. "Truly? Dr. Sinclair is coming tomorrow to treat me?"
Margaret beamed. "This is extraordinary! I'm certain Dr. Sinclair can cure Isabella's heart condition."
Penelope chimed in, "I was devastated when the doctor missed the banquet. But now—"
"I can't believe Dr. Sinclair will be here tomorrow! This is miraculous!"
Victoria clutched Isabella's hand excitedly. Isabella's heart condition had long been her greatest concern, but with Dr. Sinclair's arrival, hope blossomed.
Mention of Dr. Sinclair made Nathaniel's jaw tighten. The doctor had stood him up repeatedly. If this appointment fell through, his patience would snap.
"Tomorrow morning," Nathaniel declared, "I'll finally uncover Dr. Sinclair's true identity!"
At dawn, Margaret, Isabella, Penelope, and Victoria were already dressed. Anticipation about Dr. Sinclair's visit had robbed them of sleep. Now they paced the hallway, eyes darting toward the elevators.
"Where is Dr. Sinclair? I can't wait any longer. Why the delay?"
Nathaniel stood motionless in the corridor when Dominic whispered, "Mr. Falcon, Dr. Sinclair has arrived."
A procession of white-coated senior physicians approached with commanding presence.
"Dr. Sinclair! Dr. Sinclair is here!"
Isabella, Penelope, and Victoria froze, breath caught in their throats as they stared at the advancing figures.
Then a slender silhouette emerged at the group's forefront, pristine lab coat fluttering as she led the procession toward Isabella.
Isabella's eyes bulged, her body locking in shock.
Margaret gasped, "Harrison?"
Penelope shrieked, "Why is Harrison here?"
Victoria's brows shot up. "What's Harrison doing with these doctors?"
Nathaniel stood equally stunned by Harrison's sudden appearance.
As Harrison neared, Isabella screeched, "Harrison, explain yourself!"
The hospital's deputy director immediately reprimanded, "Mind your tone! Do you realize who you're addressing?"
Harrison raised a palm, silencing the deputy.
Margaret looked bewildered. "What does he mean?"
Penelope narrowed her eyes. "Harrison, what game are you playing? We're waiting for Dr. Sinclair. Why are you here?"
Harrison's lips curved into a knowing smile. "You've been waiting for Dr. Sinclair. Well, she's arrived."
Victoria frowned. "Explain yourself."
Harrison tapped her name badge meaningfully. "Read this."
Nathaniel's gaze dropped to the identification: Dr. Sinclair.
Harrison was Dr. Sinclair!
