Chapter 460
Nathaniel pulled Harrison along with brutal force.
She stumbled over her own feet, panic lacing her voice. "Let me go! Where are you taking me? I refuse to go with you!"
He gave no response, just dragged her out of the penthouse and shoved her into the waiting elevator.
Oliver stood frozen in shock, watching Nathaniel's domineering display. "Hey! What the hell—"
The elevator doors slid shut before he could finish, cutting off his protest.
Left standing alone, Oliver could only stare at the closed metal doors.
Nathaniel hauled Harrison down to the underground garage, forcing her into his Bentley.
She fought like a wildcat, nails scratching at his arms. "Have you lost your mind? Where are we going? I said I'm not coming!"
He yanked open the passenger door, his piercing gaze dropping to her midsection. "What aren't you telling me?"
Harrison froze. "I don't know what you're talking about."
His eyes burned into her flat stomach. "Are you carrying my child?"
Her breath hitched. How did he find out?
Nathaniel's expression remained unreadable. "Is it mine?"
Her mind raced. He'd discovered her plan to keep the baby without him.
What would he do? Force her to terminate the pregnancy?
The child shared his DNA after all.
She couldn't let him know. Shaking her head violently, she lied, "I'm not pregnant."
Nathaniel studied her face, his gaze razor-sharp. "Is that so?"
"Of course!" She forced confidence into her voice. "We ended things months ago. There's no way I'd be pregnant with your child. Now let me go."
She turned to leave.
Nathaniel grabbed her wrist, spinning her around and shoving her into the leather seat. "I don't believe you. We're going to the hospital. I want a doctor to confirm it."
Her pulse skyrocketed.
As Nathaniel slid behind the wheel, Harrison pleaded, "I swear I'm not pregnant! Just believe me!"
His cold smirk sent chills down her spine. "If I find out you stole my DNA to have my child behind my back, you'll regret it."
She blinked rapidly. "I'm telling the truth!"
A sudden sneeze escaped her.
The garage was freezing, and she wore only a silk nightdress. Harrison shivered violently. "I'm freezing. Can't this wait until tomorrow?"
Without a word, Nathaniel shrugged off his tailored jacket and threw it at her face.
The expensive fabric smelled of his signature cologne, still warm from his body heat. She yanked it off her head, glaring daggers at him.
"You're unbelievable. Do you really think I'd want anything of yours?"
