Chapter 479
Nathaniel gave a firm nod.
His resolve was absolute now.
He would save Isabella, no matter the cost.
His piercing gaze locked onto Harrison. "Just agree to treat Isabella's heart condition. I don't want this to get ugly."
Harrison's heart shattered completely. Nathaniel had truly chosen Isabella and those murderers over her.
A bitter laugh escaped her lips. "Let's see if you can actually make me!"
"You're all talk," Margaret sneered. "Sure, you're Dr. Sinclair, but you're no match for someone like Mr. Falcon! He's a titan in the business world. One word from him, and your reputation will be in ruins."
"Harrison, we're offering you a way out," Victoria interjected. "Take it before it's too late. This feud benefits no one. I'm only saying this because I care about you."
Isabella cut in sharply, "Do it for Oliver. You can't let him die because of your stubbornness!"
Harrison's icy stare bore into Isabella. "I'll handle his situation. You should worry about yourselves. I won't rest until my father's killer is brought to justice. Every single one of you will pay!"
Margaret's face twisted in anger. "How dare you—"
Before she could finish, Harrison turned on her heel and strode away.
Nathaniel watched her retreating figure and quickly caught up, grabbing her arm to stop her.
"We need to talk."
Harrison yanked her arm free with force, her lips curling into a mocking smile. "There's nothing left to say."
Nathaniel's jaw tightened. "I can't abandon Isabella. Don't force my hand."
Harrison arched a brow. "Should I applaud your undying devotion to her? What if I decide to make things difficult for you?"
Nathaniel fell silent for a beat before responding in a low, dangerous voice, "Oliver is just the start. If you push me, everyone you care about will suffer."
So he was willing to hurt her loved ones to get what he wanted?
Harrison didn't hesitate. Her palm struck Nathaniel's face with a sharp crack, snapping his head to the side.
She stared at him, her eyes brimming with disappointment. "I misjudged you completely."
Isabella rushed over, gasping. "Nathaniel! Are you okay?"
She whirled on Harrison, her voice dripping with accusation. "Have you lost your mind? How dare you hit him! What's wrong with you?"
Harrison shot her a glacial look before turning to leave.
"Stop fighting, Harrison. It's pointless!" Isabella called after her. "I heard you have a surgery scheduled at Vitalis Health. The moment Nathaniel gives the order, it'll be canceled. Even as Dr. Sinclair, he can destroy you with a snap of his fingers."
Harrison turned back, her expression unflinching. "If you're so powerful, then do it. Let's see if I care."
Isabella's face contorted with rage. "You little—"
Harrison walked away, but after a few steps, a sharp pain lanced through her lower abdomen. She doubled over, clutching her stomach.
Nathaniel noticed immediately. In three long strides, he was at her side. "What's wrong?"
Harrison pressed a hand to her abdomen, sweat beading on her forehead.
"Is it your stomach? Let me take you to the hospital," Nathaniel insisted, reaching for her.
"No! Don't!"
Isabella rushed forward, clinging to Nathaniel's arm. "You're my boyfriend now, and Harrison is our enemy. I won't let you help her, even if she's dying!"
