Chapter 504

"Harrison, why are those tears falling? You shouldn't be putting yourself through this." Eleanor swiftly pulled out a handkerchief and dabbed at her cheeks.

Harrison let out a bitter laugh. The pieces finally clicked into place. Isabella had been impersonating her all along!

For years, Isabella had stolen her identity, pretending to be the one who had rescued Nathaniel in that cave. Nathaniel had always believed it was Isabella who saved him.

Her fingers brushed against her bare neck. The crystal pendant Nathaniel had given her—the token of their bond—was missing.

She hadn’t worn it in weeks, but she distinctly remembered leaving it in her apartment.

"Harrison, what’s happening? You're scaring me," Rosalind said, gripping her arm.

The realization hit Harrison like a tidal wave, but she steadied herself. "I'm fine. Isabella is a fraud!"

Rosalind frowned. "What do you mean?"

Harrison straightened, her voice firm. "Isabella didn’t save Nathaniel in that cave. I did."

Rosalind shot to her feet, eyes wide. "Are you saying she stole your identity? That’s despicable! What a shameless liar!"

Eleanor smacked her palm against the table. "I knew it! Someone as selfish as Isabella would’ve run at the first sign of danger. Nathaniel’s been fooled all these years!"

Rosalind clenched her fists. "We have to expose her—now!"

Harrison nodded. "I have proof. The crystal pendant Nathaniel gave me—it’s in my apartment. Once he sees it, he’ll know the truth."

Rosalind hesitated. "You should rest first. We can go later."

Harrison shook her head.

She couldn’t wait another second. Isabella had stolen everything—her identity, her past, her love. She had to end this now.

"I’m fine. I’m a doctor—I know my limits. The baby’s safe. I need to go."

Eleanor sighed. "Fine. I’ll call the car. The sooner we deal with that viper, the better."

Thirty minutes later, Harrison stood in The Regal Residences, searching frantically for the pendant.

But it was gone.

Rosalind frowned. "You’re sure you left it here?"

Harrison’s stomach twisted. "It was right here. I never misplace things."

She tore through drawers, but the pendant had vanished.

Eleanor’s eyes narrowed. "Do you think someone took it?"

Harrison froze.

Isabella had been here days ago—standing right where the pendant had been.

If Isabella knew about the pendant, she would’ve stolen it.

Harrison let out a hollow laugh. Not only had Isabella stolen her identity, but she’d taken the one piece of evidence that could prove it.

Rosalind gripped her shoulder. "Did you find it?"

Harrison stood, her voice icy. "We can stop looking. Isabella took it."
