Chapter 562

"So, don't you find it... disgraceful, the way you're clinging to Harrison like that?"

For the first time in his life, Henry Lancaster was called "disgraceful." He didn’t know how to react.

"Mr. Hawk, mind your tone," the butler interjected quietly. "Mr. Lancaster has always treated you with respect. You should extend the same courtesy to your elders."

Victoria stood frozen, her eyes wide with shock. Never in her wildest dreams had she imagined witnessing the world’s richest man, Henry, and the rising business prodigy, Nathaniel, fighting over the same woman.

The two men were seconds away from throwing punches over Harrison.

Victoria finally understood. Nathaniel must have misunderstood—he thought Henry had feelings for Harrison. In reality, the age gap between Harrison and Isabella meant nothing. A man of Henry’s status and wealth could have women like Harrison and Isabella throwing themselves at him effortlessly.

But Henry was Harrison’s father.

Victoria felt like her entire world had flipped upside down.

Harrison, caught between them, felt even dizzier. Did these two ever stop to consider how she felt?

She struggled and snapped, "Let me go!"

Nathaniel glared at Henry. "Uncle Henry, did you hear that? Harrison wants you to let go."

Henry remained composed. "I believe she meant both of us."

Nathaniel scoffed. "What—"

Harrison cut in sharply, "I said, let go! Both of you!"

Reluctantly, Nathaniel shot Henry a look. "Fine. On three, we release her together."

Henry didn’t argue and nodded.

Nathaniel counted, "One... two... three..."

At the same moment, both men released Harrison.

She swayed, her legs buckling beneath her.

Nathaniel moved instantly, catching her in his arms. "Harrison, what’s wrong?"

"I’m dizzy," she murmured weakly.

Without hesitation, Nathaniel scooped her up. "I’m taking you somewhere to rest."

He carried her out of the room.

Henry, watching from behind, called out, "Harrison can’t leave."

The butler stepped forward. "Mr. Hawk, Ms. Harrison should rest in this room."

Nathaniel carried Harrison inside and gently laid her on the plush bed. "Let me get you some water."

He poured her a glass.

After a moment, Harrison sighed. "Thanks. I’m fine. It’s just the pregnancy dizziness."

Nathaniel studied her with concern. "What’s your relationship with Mr. Lancaster?"

Harrison blinked up at him in confusion. "What?"

"I saw him holding you earlier," Nathaniel said, his voice thick with jealousy.

Harrison was stunned. "What are you even thinking? I was dizzy, and he steadied me for a second!"

She genuinely didn’t understand why Nathaniel was jumping to conclusions.

But Nathaniel was tense. Harrison was constantly surrounded by men—one after another—and who knew what Henry’s true intentions were?

He couldn’t help voicing his suspicion. "He steadied you? Since when is Henry Lancaster the type to help anyone? He’s known for being cold and distant!"

Nathaniel knew Henry well. Even though Henry hadn’t interacted much with Harrison, Nathaniel sensed something different. The way Henry treated Harrison was... unusual.

Before Harrison could respond, a smooth voice came from the doorway.

"I’m standing right here. Were you badmouthing me?"

Henry had followed them into the room and now stood at the threshold.

Nathaniel shot him a dark look, his expression dripping with hostility. He stared at Henry like a rival.
