Chapter 669

Isabella collapsed onto the plush sofa, her thoughts spiraling as she struggled to regain composure.

What was her next step?

Victoria was missing—Nathaniel must have already discovered this. At this very moment, he was likely with Harrison, the two of them undoubtedly scheming against her.

Isabella's frustration surged. She couldn't let this perfect opportunity slip away. Harrison needed to vanish—no matter the cost.

She snatched her phone and typed a message.

Across the city, Harrison sat in the CEO's office at Falcon Enterprises. A sharp buzz from her phone interrupted the tense silence. She glanced at the screen—an unknown number.

[If you want your daughter to live, find somewhere private and answer my call. Tell anyone, and she dies immediately.]

A chill slithered down Harrison's spine. The kidnappers had finally made contact.

She had feared they might stay silent. But now that they had acted, there was a chance to exploit their weakness.

The number was masked, routed through a virtual network. These people were careful—too careful.

Nathaniel, seated across the room, looked up at the sound of her phone. "Who's messaging you?"

The kidnappers' warning echoed in her mind: No one can know.

Harrison forced calm into her voice. "Just Rosalind."

Nathaniel nodded, turning back to the documents before him.

Dominic entered quietly. "Still no sign of Miss Charlotte or Mrs. Victoria. But the good news is, the kidnappers haven't made any demands yet. That means they're still safe."

Nathaniel exhaled, unfolding a map. "Expand the search to these sectors."

As Nathaniel and Dominic pored over the plans, Harrison stood and slipped out unnoticed.

She moved to a secluded corner just as her phone rang again.

Without hesitation, she answered. "Who is this? Where is my daughter? Where is Mrs. Victoria?"

A distorted, mechanical voice responded, "They're with me."

Harrison's grip tightened on the phone. "Prove it. Let me hear Charlotte's voice."

"Fine."

A moment later, a small, trembling voice came through. "Mommy?"

Harrison's breath hitched. "Charlotte! Are you hurt?"

"I'm okay. Mrs. Victoria is here too."

Harrison swallowed hard. "Be brave, sweetheart. I'm coming for you both."

Then Victoria's voice cut in. "Harrison—"

The mechanical voice interrupted. "Enough talking."

Relief flickered—they were alive. "What do you want?"

"Go to the exclusive vineyard. There's a private event happening tonight."

A party? Harrison scoffed. "I'll go. But you swear they won't be harmed?"

"Follow my orders, and they stay unharmed. Disobey, and they suffer. And remember—no one can know. If you involve anyone else, the consequences are on you."
