Chapter 671

Another disposable number flashed on the screen.

These burner phones multiplied like rabbits, each tracing back to different ghost servers across the globe - completely untraceable.

The puppet master was calling again.

Harrison's finger hovered over the answer button before pressing it firmly. "Yes?"

A digitally distorted voice crackled through the receiver. "Are you in position?"

Her grip tightened around the sleek device. "I'm here."

"Did you see the entertainment I arranged for you tonight? You'd better play your part and satisfy every one of them!"

A humorless chuckle escaped her lips. "Oh I'm playing my part perfectly - serving them exactly as they deserve."

"Liar! You haven't touched a single one. You're defying me!"

Harrison's gaze turned razor-sharp as she scanned the sprawling underground wine cellar with predatory precision. "You're watching me right now, aren't you?"

The calculated bait worked instantly. Somewhere in this labyrinth of oak barrels and crystal chandeliers, Isabella was lurking in the shadows like a spider in its web.

But the space was too vast. Harrison's sweeping visual search came up empty.

The voice on the line turned venomous. "Clever little bitch!"

Harrison's lips curled into an arctic smile. "Do we have history?"

Dead air filled the line for three heartbeats.

She pressed her advantage, each word a scalpel's cut. "We do know each other. This is personal. You're targeting me and Charlotte specifically. I think I've figured it out - you're Isabella, aren't you?"

Up in the private mezzanine, Isabella's manicured nails dug into the velvet railing as she watched her prey turn the tables. She'd orchestrated this entire spectacle - luring Harrison here, surrounding her with hired predators, wanting to witness her destruction.

But Harrison was rewriting the script.

That damning question hung between them like a guillotine blade: "You're Isabella, aren't you?"

Ice water flooded Isabella's veins. She gasped audibly before she could stop herself.

"No! You're mistaken!" The denial came too fast, too sharp.

Harrison's smirk widened. "Interesting. You didn't ask who Isabella is. Just immediate denial. That confirms it's you."

Silence.

Harrison's knuckles turned white around the phone.

"I've had my suspicions. Only you would be brazen enough to move against me and Charlotte in Metropolia. But even I didn't expect this level of recklessness - kidnapping people in broad daylight at Metropolia International, even taking Victoria Hawk. Though I suspect that last part was an accident?"

Her voice dropped to a lethal whisper. "Have you considered how this ends? Your pathetic obsession with Nathaniel? When Victoria learns you orchestrated her kidnapping, do you really think she'll welcome you as her daughter-in-law? You're chasing a fantasy."

Isabella's face twisted in rage. "Shut your mouth!"

Harrison's smile turned feral. Confirmation received - Isabella was behind Charlotte and Victoria's abduction.

Composing herself, Isabella hissed, "Enough distractions! Your daughter and Victoria are at my mercy. Entertain these men properly or your precious Charlotte suffers!"

Harrison shook her head slowly. "Not happening."

"Oh?" Isabella's voice dropped to a purr - then Charlotte's terrified scream pierced the line.

"No! Mommy!"

The connection went dead.
