Chapter 929
Lucian gestured for Rosalind to feed him popcorn.
Thankfully the theater lights had dimmed, otherwise Rosalind's crimson cheeks would have been embarrassingly visible.
Her delicate fingers trembled slightly as she lifted a piece of popcorn to his lips. "Here."
Lucian's lips brushed against her fingertips as he took the snack.
Just as she tried to withdraw her hand, his teeth lightly grazed her skin, making her gasp.
Rosalind's eyelashes fluttered wildly. The heat spread from her face down to her neck, making her pulse race.
"What are you doing? The movie's starting!" she whispered sharply, yanking her hand back.
She straightened in her seat, determined to focus on the screen.
Lucian's low chuckle sent shivers down her spine as he leaned back, watching her reaction with amusement.
The film began as a typical romance - beautiful leads, sweeping cinematography. But halfway through, the tone shifted dramatically.
The passionate love scene unfolded with startling intensity. Clothes were discarded, moans filled the theater.
Rosalind stiffened.
Where should she look? This wasn't just a romantic scene - it was practically pornography!
She prayed for the scene to end, but it only grew more explicit. The sounds of passion echoed through the empty theater, making her ears burn.
Turning to Lucian, she found his dark gaze already fixed on her, burning with unmistakable desire.
"Did you plan this?" she accused.
His innocent expression didn't fool her. "Plan what?"
"This isn't a romance movie! It's practically X-rated!"
Lucian's deep laugh vibrated through her. Truthfully, he hadn't known - it was his first cinema experience.
The sounds grew louder. In the dark theater, with only the two of them present, Rosalind felt like she might combust.
"I can't watch this. I'm leaving." She stood abruptly.
To exit, she had to pass Lucian. As she stepped over him, his leg suddenly blocked her path.
"Ah!" She stumbled forward.
Strong arms caught her, pulling her down onto his lap. Their faces were inches apart.
"You tripped me!" she accused.
Lucian's smirk was infuriating. "Seems to me you fell into my arms on purpose."
"You're impossible!"
"Don't women love bad boys?" His breath was warm against her ear.
Rosalind refused to admit how much she liked this dangerous side of him.
"Let me go!" She squirmed.
His grip tightened. "Don't move."
She froze when she felt the hard evidence of his arousal pressing against her.
"Lucian?" Her voice trembled.
His smoldering gaze held hers. "What do you think is happening?"
